W Mag:: photo fab!

this magazine does amazing fashion editorials....i loved the spread last year of demi moore. and now jennifer garner from the january cover, which i forgot to blog about, and february's cover and spread is of rihanna...it's is beautiful work. the styling is impeccable, done by Lori Goldstein. I love that the spread is in black and white. jenn garner serves much face in her spread, and rihanna is a throwback beauty in her animal print sculpted head piece. i would love to style something similar to both of these shoots, enjoy & don't forget to donate to the haiti earthquake relief fund

closet staples

so i have been in NY for about a week now & i noticed...it's all about the outerwear. so i came up with some pieces that i want to purchase to incorporate into my wardrobe. i think a chunky faux fur sweater is a must. you can throw over anything & keep it moving. i also love.love.love trench coats. they give you an instant mysterious ora...and a bright colored trenches are my favorite! i need to step my pants game up, therefore i want some cropped/ cuffed trousers. they are soo chic to me. also i want some silk trousers...you can dress them up with some strappy heels or pumps or you can dress the down with some cute flats and my next wardrobe staple, a denim jacket/ vest. who doesn't love a good jean jacket, not the old school boxy ones...i'm talking semi- cropped and long sleeved like the ones included. and lastly long leather gloves... i love long leather gloves, they make you look FABULOUS!!! what are some staples that you want to include in your wardrobe this year?
