Vamp it up?

so ladies are you feeling this trend for the fall? i'm still a little mixed, perhaps i'll get some of the colors and how they work for me. I don't think the black would be a good match on me but i am up to try a real deep purple. I saw on mac they have a purple called Cyber which is a very intense shade of purple but the photo wont copy for me.

Nars velvet matte lip liner in the shade Cruella is my must have for fall, i love a red lip and this shade of red if i do say so myself looks great on me...lol

second shoot

so today i got invited by make up artist sharon gault to come and assist on a photo shoot for singer Taylor Dayne...you remember her right? well here are 2 of my favorite songs from her::

I must say she was super sweet and super nice...she was giving all kinds of lioness fevah *snaps for tha kids 2 times with a split at the end* The photographer Marc Cartwright based out of LA was pretty awesome. I had such a great day learning the behind the scenes stuff that goes on for a shoot. And lastly the stylist for the shoot had some AMAZING custom design pieces, his name is Michael Schmidt and he too was pretty cool. The hair stylist Johnny Stuntz, it was a pleasure to watch him creata on set. And a second hair stylist Angela Renee came in and did a great job, if you want any of their contact information shoot me an email.

nia long was spotted killin' it on the red carpet for the chris rock documentary "good hair". this woman never ages to me, her skin is flawless, makeup is fllawless and im ready to rob her for this blouse...definitely looking for one like it this weekend... do you ladies know where i can find it? have a fabulous weekend, and i'll be back with some pictures from all the fun stuff i have going on this weekend in la la land...

but in a good way...just fabulous. loving the harem pants, balmain blazerlace top, the hair, makeup... i love it all. her stylist is like theeeeeee best!

so i was watching the tyra show today and she featured a product from dkny called the cozy cardigan. it retails for 195.00 basically it is a silk and cashmere blend wool draped cardigan. i would style it paired with leggings or skinny jeans and knee boots. or with a super tight mini or mid knee lenght skirt with some pumps or strappy heels. fabulous indeed!

so i got these ankle boots almost 2 years ago from the fashion district in downtown l.a. i did not have a vision for them then...but i got one now... they are very much in season and i hope it is chilly in the NYC next week so i can rock them!
