Transition your wardrobe

in this economy who has money to go out and purchase a brand new winter wardrobe?!?!?! not I... so I am going to give you a few examples of how to "winterize: your spring & summer pieces into looks for the fall & winter by following these basic trend reports. First up:: black tights under your shorts. I did not like this trend at all to begin with, but it has really grown on me, why should you have to hide your shorts for 3-6 months. Slap some black opaque stocking under those shorts & with a great pair of boots and keep it moving into this chilly season. You can pair the look with an oversized cardigan or a statement blazer. I'll blog tomorrow on another transition trend:: turtlenecks with spring dresses!

boots. boots. and more boots.

I love when seasons change and I love boots! so as I was shopping for my samples I came across these boots I just had to have. the pink boots (which are actually fuschia in person) come to my mid calf and the grey slouch boots go over the knee...perfect for my move to NYC. I can get you these boots as well as part of my personal shopping services :) do you love them or what!!!

so i got these ankle boots almost 2 years ago from the fashion district in downtown l.a. i did not have a vision for them then...but i got one now... they are very much in season and i hope it is chilly in the NYC next week so i can rock them!

I found my boots!

I went to the fashion district with my girl Lori today and found the most fabulous black winter boots. They were 50 after taxes...I forsee this being a very fashionable season...stay tuned as I update my purchases...
