Reason #579 I love Tyler Perry

I am soo excited that one of my favorite plays is being brought to the big screen courtesy of Tyler Perry, it is called "for colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is not enuf by Ntozake Shange."

I was in this play my senior year in college and I am very excited for this project. Mr. Perry if you are reading this nad need help with wardrobe, let me know!!! The cast has not been released yet, they are saying it will be all star, in my personal "vision" I would love to see unknown artist in the lead roles because the play is soo raw...but I doubt that will happen. I will definietly go out and support the film. AWESOME!

I cannot wait to see SATC2. the fashions. the music. the men... sigh, i love it all. I must admit i was mad at the end when carrie and big got married after all, i was just upset. so it'll be interesting to see how their marriage will play out. who is samantha doing? how are miranda and steve. and charlotte, harry, lily and rose...what is going on over there....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

the ultimate bargain shopper!

I was able to cop a few fabulous items this past week. I got the oversized clutch in downtown l.a. for a steal 10 dollars! I picked up a black one for the bff. The nude tone platforms are Steve Madden courtesy of Ross, mmhmm 20 dollars, excuse my pink sock but these are my zippered leggings also from Ross for 7 dollars, and my fab black knoff off whatevers :) for 30 in downtown l.a., which I love.

so I have been following alot of fashion blogs to see how these stylist have come to find work in the industry that I want to work in. Often times I feel like "where do I start?" "who do I know?" "what do I do?" It just seems like it comes so easy for some people, but I have got ot get up and make it happen for myself. So I am making a promise to myself to have a small portfolio at least 10 looks photographed and business cards ready so that when I get to NY, I can try to make some things happen. I WILL! I WILL! I WILL!

I am just so obsessed with fashion, in particular styling, & I know I can make it my career...i'm working on it guys!
